Welcome to Our Timber Home!
It’s so nice to meet you. My name is Catherine and my husband’s name is Don. I am a wife, and a mother of 4, and a grandmother of 7 so far. We have six granddaughters and only one little grandson! Obviously, girls run in the family!
This is about our journey. Have you ever dreamed of living in the country on a little piece of land? Well, that is what we had always hoped for! Well God’s timing is always perfect and in July of 2019 we purchased our1840’s timber home in Ohio. It was considered “livable”, if you know what I mean. The only update to our almost 100-year-old home was a horrible bathroom remodel.
My husband has a background in finished carpentry and construction, and I have always had a love for decorating and thrifting! We have big plans for our little farm.
We hope you will come on this journey with us as we lovingly restore and decorate Our Timber Home!
